Crystal is local of the Mountain Home area, and graduated Cum Laude with her degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway. She went on to complete additional training through her internship at the Arkansas Hand Therapy Center in Little Rock, where she trained and worked alongside hand surgeons and experts in the field of surgery and rehab of the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand. She is the only Board Certified Hand Therapist in a 50 to 60 mile radius. She has presented at various courses, now training other therapists on the topics of shoulder rehab, splinting and UE rehab speaking at venues from Washington DC, to right here in Arkansas. As a career long member of the American Hand Therapy Society, the American OT Association, and now serving on the board of the Arkansas Hand Therapy Society, she is a valuable mentor through UCA, equipping the next generation of therapists. She specializes in orthopedic rehab of the upper extremity for shoulder, elbow, wrist or hand issues, treating everything from rotator cuff tears, to wrist sprains to major reconstructive surgeries. She works closely with physicians from Saint Louis, Fayetteville, Conway, Little Rock ~ and also our local physicians, to provide care not often found in rural communities. She has a passion to educate patients and therapists, to provide excellent care, proven results, and works to communicate with your doctor and health care team to provide the highest level of care. She and Paul have been married for over 20 years and enjoy life on Bull Shoals Lake.
